HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia To Be Built in Stone Ridge


Stone Ridge, VA, July 14, 2009 – HealthSouth Corporation has broken ground on a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Northern Virginia. Located at the Van Metre Community of Stone Ridge in Loudoun County, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia will employ approximately 200 people and offer the latest rehabilitative medicine, as well as private rooms. Once fully operational, the state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital will provide the residents of the Northern Virginia area more access to high-quality and cost-effective rehabilitative services.

HealthSouth’s inpatient rehabilitation hospitals provide a higher level of rehabilitative care to patients who are recovering from stroke and other neurological disorders, brain and spinal cord injury, amputations, orthopedic, cardiac and pulmonary conditions. HealthSouth is the nation’s largest provider of inpatient services.

Van Metre Companies and Stone Ridge have won every major award for design, marketing, and land planning. Currently, they build new homes in Loudoun County including single-family homes, town homes, and condominiums by Van Metre Homes, the Stone Ridge Village Retail Center, offices, and amenities such as pools, a clubhouse, amphitheater, and trails.
